About Native Now

Native Now was founded in 2022 by intertribal Native American students, professors, and allies who know that art and visual culture is powerful. We develop exhibitions and events to elevate Native visions and voices, with a focus on the urban & suburban intertribal Native experience.

Living Land Acknowledgement

Native Now serves a community of urban & suburban intertribal Native and Indigenous people in what we know call the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We all live on the historic homelands of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, the Caddo Nation, and other Native peoples. We remember this history, the experience of relocation, and seek to be stewards of this land.
